Accounting & Fiscal

The Accounting and Fiscal Section provides, and is responsible for all department accounting (except Board of Investments investment documents, and the Board of Housing mortgage portfolio system), bookkeeping (including both receipting and disbursing), contract management, purchasing, budget entry onto and related assistance. The section serves as accounting liaison with other state departments and various federal agencies and participates in interdepartmental service coordination. Other functions include defining department accounting policy; updating department rules, policies, and procedures; and supplying information to the public, and the legislature.
