HELENA, Mont. – On Friday, Montana Board of Housing (MBOH) employees were excited to help with a Habitat for Humanity home build. The MBOH team got to work installing trim, baseboards, doors, shelves, blinds and appliances.
“For more than 20 years, the folks from the Board of Housing have been rolling up their sleeves to assist with Habitat builds” Montana Department of Commerce Director Pam Haxby-Cote said. “We are thankful to work alongside Helena Habitat and give back to our community by providing a safe and affordable place for a local family to live.”
Habitat is building this home for a local family with sponsorship by Wells Fargo and the Washington Foundation.
The current build will be Habitat’s final construction project in 2017 before they break ground on six homes in 2018.
