A row of apartment homes

Every day we work to break down housing barriers in Montana. That’s why we’re partnering with Great Falls, Billings and Missoula to gather feedback from you that can help us find ways to improve fair housing opportunities.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, also known as the Fair Housing Act. In basic terms, fair housing means the right to choose a home free from unlawful discrimination.

We know that here in Montana finding a stable and affordable home can be a challenge. That’s why we want to hear from you to learn ways the Department of Commerce can improve fair housing opportunities.
