As a business owner myself, I know firsthand Montana is a great place for entrepreneurs. Like many small businesses, our restaurant in Butte is family owned and operated. Governor Bullock and Dave Simkins

Dave Simkins of Leslie’s Hallmark has been named the first-ever Made in Montana Retailer of the Year for 2015.

For more than three decades, Leslie’s Hallmark has provided Made in Montana products as well as greeting cards, gifts, decorative items and much more.

Mr. Simkins received the award due to his longstanding commitment in supporting Montana small business by selling authentic products that are made in the state, according to Made in Montana program representative Lonie Stimac. “This is a case of one Montana entrepreneur helping another to succeed,” she said. “Dave has not only sold Made in Montana products, he offers help and advice to new producers.”
