HELENA, Mont. – The Montana Department of Commerce Tuesday announced $400,000 to upgrade and retain 30 jobs at the Garfield County Health Center in Jordan, Mont.
“The Garfield County Health Center upgrades will create a safer, more welcoming place for folks who live, work and receive medical care in Jordan,” Community Development Division Administrator Jennifer Olson said. “The funding also means needed jobs will stay in the community, benefiting the local and regional economies.”
The county is being awarded $400,000 in Community Development Block Grant-Economic Development (CDBG-ED) funding toward a $1.2 million renovation at its nursing home, emergency room and clinic. The renovation will allow the health center to retain 30 jobs and continue serving its community.
