2011 Made in Montana Marketplace Presents Awards
(HELENA) – Four exhibitors were recognized for the quality of their booths at the 2011 Made in Montana Marketplace trade show Friday, March 25, in the Mansfield Convention Center at the Great Falls Civic Center.
On the first day (Wholesale Buyers’ Day) of the two-day trade show of Made in Montana products, awards were given to

The two-day Marketplace features 97 exhibitors from across Montana in 99 booths.
The show continues Saturday with Public Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with admission only $3 per person 12 years of age and older. Hundreds of products in the show include gourmet chocolates, jewelry, gourmet snacks, wine, organic body products, huckleberry, chokecherry and honey products, felt handbags, wool scarves and hats, whole grain and gluten-free food products. The Montana Department of Commerce and the Montana Department of Agriculture started the original Made in Montana Food & Gift Show in 1998. In 2004, funding for the show was cut. The Schweitzer Administration restored funding to help sponsor the rebirth of the show in 2005. In 2006, the City of Great Falls assumed production of the show and renamed it the Made in Montana Marketplace. The Department of Commerce remains a primary partner and sponsor of the Marketplace. The Department of Agriculture and Montana Arts Council are contributing partners.
