Statewide Housing Conference Slated for June 26-28 in Billings

Statewide Housing Conference Slated for June 26-28 in Billings
 
(HELENA) – Montana’s housing partners are gathering in Billings next week to discuss issues impacting the state’s housing climate.
 
The 2012 Montana Housing Partnership Conference will be held June 26-28, at the Crowne Plaza in Billings. The biennial conference will feature speakers from the National Association of Homebuilders, the Corporation for Enterprise Development and the new Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 
 
 “We promise three days packed with information on housing and topics ranging from, creating security and opportunity through housing, fighting homelessness, housing resources and the impact of foreclosures in Montana,” said conference organizer Sheila Rice, Executive Director of NeighborWorks Montana.
 
The Montana Board of Housing will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 26. A special panel on Wednesday, June 27 will feature Oil and Gas Impacts on Eastern Montana Communities.
