Commerce Awards $662,500 in Job Creation Grants to Five Montana Businesses

Butte Montana HELENA – The Montana Department of Commerce today announced the awarding of $662,500 in grant funding to assist five job-creating businesses in Montana in generating greater opportunity for local residents. The job creation grant funding is provided by Commerce’s Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund (BSTF).

“At Commerce, we are proud to support growing Montana businesses through the creation of sustainable, good-paying jobs that will help keep our economy expanding, and enable the innovative companies of our state to reach their full potential,” said Montana Department of Commerce Director Scott Osterman. “These grants assist businesses to generate new jobs for Montanans, and to propel future economic growth and stability for communities across the state.”

BSTF Job Creation grants are awarded to local and tribal governments to create good paying jobs for residents. In addition to grants, BSTF also provides funding for loans. BSTF Job Creation grant funding has been awarded to:
