The Montana Department of Commerce is happy to share that the U.S. Department of the Treasury has released the first set of proposed guidance for the Opportunity Zones incentive. The released guidance clarified important questions about what types of funds are eligible, elaborates on investment requirements for Opportunity Funds, and establishes a timeline for when the incentives can be realized.
