Montana Department of Commerce Welcomes New Indian Country Economic Development Program Manager

TJ Altekruse HELENA, Mont. -- The Montana Department of Commerce is pleased to introduce TJ Altekruse as its new Indian Country Economic Development Program Manager. In this crucial role, TJ will spearhead efforts to promote economic development and prosperity within Montana's Indian Country communities.

TJ brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the position, making him an excellent choice to lead these vital initiatives. With a bachelor's degree in business management from Oral Roberts University and a strong background in economic development, community engagement and a deep commitment to serving Montana's tribal communities, he is well prepared to contribute to the Department of Commerce's mission.

In his role as Indian Country Economic Development Program Manager, TJ will be responsible for developing and implementing economic development strategies; facilitating collaboration; overseeing the allocation of resources and funding to support projects driving economic growth, job creation, and improved infrastructure within tribal communities; and data analysis and reporting.
