Sign Requirements
The grantee must display a sign, no smaller than 18-by-24 inches, at the project site that identifies the grant funding source. The sign should be visible to the public from nearby streets or walkways and not obstructed by trees, buildings or other signage. It may be a window decal, freestanding sign or attached to existing signage, such as a banner or building. The cost of producing the sign may be reimbursable under the grant depending on the program. The sign must use Commerce-provided graphics and durable materials suitable for the weather. Commerce may, in its discretion, provide a window decal that will satisfy this requirement. A photo of the installed sign must be provided to Commerce to verify compliance with these requirements. In some cases, alternatives to the requirements above may be granted in writing at Commerce’s discretion.
