BUDGET AND OPERATIONS

The Budget and Operations Bureau manages the division's House Bill 2 and lodging facility use tax, or bed tax, budgets, oversees customer relationship management, fulfills orders of division publications and provides internal administrative support.

OFFICE OF TOURISM

The Office of Tourism provides strategic tourism direction for destination marketing, development and management for the State of Montana. Additionally, the office administers the annual marketing plans and budgets for the DMOs (tourism regions and convention and visitor bureaus), the Made in Montana suite of programs and the Tourism Grants Program.

MARKETING

The Marketing Bureau promotes Montana as a vacation destination to domestic and international audiences through paid, earned and owned media. Major programs include consumer advertising, digital marketing, public relations and social media. The bureau offers financial assistance through joint venture and niche marketing grant programs.

MONTANA FILM OFFICE

The Montana Film Office markets Montana as a business destination for film production companies and builds and supports partnerships with filmmakers. The office serves as an advocate for Montana filmmakers, crew, talent and service industries and promotes the creation and expansion of Montana film industry jobs.
